A number of the assemblies we use for residential construction include steel components - structural posts, steel floor beams, structural projections for bay windows, and so-on. As well, we use specialized tools and equipment for raising heavy finished walls. Because most of these things are not available 'off the shelf', it is important for us to be able to work with a welder and steel fabricator that can interpret engineer's drawings and provide top-quality components for us.
Evercare is a family business that does excellent custom fabrication. Their work includes metal assemblies for the Museum of Human Rights, Boeing Aircraft, Flyer Industries, Tundra Buggies (the Churchill Polar Bear tour operators), ArComPlan Inc., Poole Construction, and many others. Nothing leaves Evercare's shop until it has been inspected and confirmed to be the highest quality possible and conforming exactly to the customer's specifications. That level of commitment is hard to find these days.
